This album covers a lot of the same ground as Samurai Samba, with a few new and interesting twists. The gospel-flavored "Revelation" features the vocals of Perri; Steely Dan's Donald Fagen contributes the album's title track, written especially for the group, the title itself deriving from the many "shades" of Yellowjackets' music. My own favorites on this set include "Oasis", "Black Tie" and "And You Know That".
